The heritage-designated 1838 stone mill straddles what many consider the most picturesque waterfall in Gatineau Park. Many of the Inn's 26 distinctive rooms feature waterfall views, while many have Jacuzzis and fireplaces. Each guest room features a four-piece private bath, queen- or king-size bed, cable television, air conditioning, two separate telephone/modem lines and voice mail, and Canadiana furniture, including a writing desk. All guests rooms, except the three loft rooms, are serviced by an elevator.

The Inn's public areas are decorated with scenes from the rich history of the Outaouais region and the Gatineau hills. In addition to sitting areas within the guest rooms, Wakefield Mill offers a soothing atmosphere in its piano lounge, boasting live piano every Friday and Saturday night.

From May until October, take a journey back in time on a historic turn-of-the-century steam train which regularly travels from Hull to Wakefield, taking you along the breathtaking bends of the Gatineau River.
