Traveling
with a Pet
When traveling with your pet you will need need
to familiarize yourself with pet-related restrictions
or requirements imposed by airlines, bed and breakfast
inns and lodging facilities, and destination countries
or states. For instance, Hawaii has a quarantine
requirement.
Make sure you
comply with the lodging facilities reservation
requirements and rules. Just because an inn says they
take pets, doesn't mean you can just show up with one.
Make sure you
will have all of the supplies necessary to keep your
pet comfortable. If you are bringing and boarding your
horse, make sure you have the necessary papers and
certificates.
