Five clean, country rooms, each with private bath, welcome you to this wonderful bed and breakfast. Each room offers wireless Internet, cable/color television, clock/radio, refrigerator, queen and double beds, and individually controlled heat and air conditioning.

Homestead Lodging features a complimentary continental breakfast to get you started right. There's nothing like hot coffee or fresh baked goods to liven your spirits for a day of activities.

From January to December, this area features events. Tour buses are available daily of Amish farmlands and on Wednesdays to Philadelphia.

Homestead Lodging is also located within walking distance of restaurants and minutes from farmers' markets, quilt, antique and craft shops, outlets, auctions, museums and theaters.

You may wish to visit some of the many historical properties available for tours such as the Hans Herr House, Heritage Center of Lancaster County, Wheatland (James Buchanan's home), Historic Rock Ford Plantation, Railroad Museum of Pennsylvania or Robert Fulton's birthplace. Tennis, golf (18-hole and miniature), and hiking are also encouraged, but there are also outdoor activities for those looking for a slower pace of recreation. Enjoy a walk down the lane to the Amish farm adjacent to the Inn, or enjoy a quiet evening on the porch -- it's up to you.
