A Bischwind Wedding is an event of elegance ... the mansion and grounds surround the bride and groom in old-world charm and welcome their guests to a ceremony that will linger long in memory. Choose a setting that will enhance your special day... at Bischwind we can set the stage not only for the bride and groom to cherish, but will also be as memorable for their family and guests.

Our 120 year old mansion is listed on the National Historic Register and lends itself to provide the ultimate location, which sets your wedding reception apart from the ordinary. Our lighted garden fountain is a magnificent backdrop for memorable wedding pictures as is the north pasture with century old pine trees or our lighted pool area surrounded with greenery and flowers.

Your wedding can be held in the Baronial Hall or outside on our manicured grounds. Both you and your guests will enjoy the exclusive use of the downstairs of the south wing and terraces of the mansion for 5 hours.

The Crystal Ballroom

Bischwind can accommodate up to 48 guests for an elegant five course dinner reception in the Crystal Ballroom.

The Crystal Room glows with the lights of Austrian chandeliers hanging above round tables swathed in ivory linens swooping to the floor. The table linens are overlaid with gossamer organza that shimmers under the romantic crystal lighting. A polished ancient oak floor in the room's center beckons the bride, groom and guests to dance. A wall of windows dressed in lacy Austrian shades reveals the magnificent lighted grounds of Bischwind. The towering fireplace with Doric columns flanked by Louis XIV gilded desks adds a regal dimension. A leaded glass door and a hundred year old Steinway piano are reflected in a peer glass mirror.

Bischwind's Exclusive Wedding Package
Bischwind hosts only exclusive weddings in which you will be reserving the entire mansion for you and your selected house guests. The Theodore Roosevelt Suite for the bride and groom along with the additional 7 guest rooms, each which can accommodate 2 guests. This will make your special day memorable.

Our package starts at $3,640.00 plus tax and gratuity and includes ...

  • all 7 guest rooms, a maximum of 16 house guests including the bride and groom
  • The Theodore Roosevelt Suite for the bride and groom
  • an elegant reception dinner served in five courses
  • fabulous country breakfast for house guests.
  • Your 5 hour affair is serviced by our attentive staff and must end by 10:00 pm.
  • The exclusive use of the Bischwind mansion and grounds

  • The maximum dinner reception guest capacity is 48.
  • There is an additional fee of $125.00 plus tax and gratuity per guest over the base guest count of 16.
  • Bar is not included and is a BYO, a great savings. The Bischwind staff can not serve alcohol, but an array of glasses will be provided for your bar use.
  • Add an additional $500.00 plus tax to the package for weddings held in the fall and winter months: October through March dates.
