Pineapples in Caramel Sauce

Ingredients

8 slices fresh pineapples, chilled (or canned if not available)

1/2 cup maple syrup

1/2 cup heavy cream

Few pinches of nutmeg

In saucepan, heat maple syrup until boiling. Add heavy cream while stirring. Gently boil again for 15 seconds, then divide among chilled pineapple in individual dessert cups. Add a few pinches of nutmeg and serve.
