A stroll through the circa 1805 Mansion and the 15 acres of lawns, rose gardens, babbling streams, and woodlands will recapture a time long lost -- a time when grace, elegance, and hospitality were the hallmark of the great American Inns. The quiet solitude of this inn, however, belies its convenient location to the Amish and Mennonite communities and its central location between Harrisburg, Hershey, Lancaster, and York, Pennsylvania.

The 18 rooms and suites, each with private bath and telephone with data port, are decorated to reflect the estate's 200-year heritage. Many stays also provide the added indulgence of a working fireplace or whirlpool tub, a perfect treat for a romantic weekend away from the bustle of city life. Enjoy relaxing views of the woods and streams, rural Pennsylvania sunsets, or the east lawn. There is even a charming suite housed in the former summer kitchen that features its own entrance, two bedrooms, a living room, dining area, and a small kitchen, perfect for the business traveler, with or without companions.
