Olde Square Granola

Ingredients:

4 cups old fashioned oats

1-1/2 cups sliced almonds

1/2 cup brown sugar

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1/4 cup cooking oil

1/4 cup honey

1 teaspoon vanilla

1-1/2 cups raisins or dried cranberries

Preheat oven to 300 degrees. In a bowl mix the oats, almonds, brown sugar, salt, and cinnamon. In a saucepan warm the oil and honey, then stir in vanilla. Pour over oat mixture and stir. Spread granola in a 15 X 10 X 1 inch baking pan. Bake 40 minutes at 300 degrees, stirring every 10 minutes. When cooled stir in raisins or cranberries. Seal in airtight container or freeze
