• Open: All year.
• Reservations: Reservations are recommended in advance. Call: (814) 355-3093 or contact a travel agent. Minimum stay is usually 2 days on weekends, but that is negotiable.

• Payment: One night's lodging to confirm reservation. Personal checks and cash are accepted. No credit cards.
• Cancellation Policy: Cancellation notice must be received at least 10 days prior to scheduled arrival date for deposit refund. No refunds for fewer than 10 days notice.
• Restrictions: No pets. No smoking. Call about children.
• Breakfast: The kitchens are stocked with food requested by visitor for full self-service.
• Recreation & Activities: State Parks and historical sites nearby. Penn State campus in immediate vicinity. Some skiing, dependent upon weather.
• Attractions & Special Events: Penn State games, commencement, and events. The home of Fisherman's Paradise, famed for trout fishing. Mid-July Central Pennsylvania Festival of the Arts and December Bellefonte Victorian Christmas.
• Recommended Local Restaurants: The Gamble Mill Tavern (814) 355-7764, La Bella Trattoria (814) 353-8808, and Bonfatto's (814) 353-3330.
• Recommended Local Best Kept Secrets: Bellefonte has been home to seven U.S. governors, five of whom were Pennsylvania governors. Its history also played an important role in Civil War politics and the beginnings of Air Mail flight. Its County library is a great source for genealogical research.
