Folly Hill was originally built in 1837 and now serves as the only bed and breakfast with a vineyard and winery in the Philadelphia Countryside.

Folly Hill Vineyards' old tasting room has been converted into one of the bed and breakfast units. Located right next to the vineyard, this wonderful lodging accommodation has a private patio surrounded by a stone wall overlooking the vineyards and countryside. This cottage style unit has queen bed, and HP access. The second accommodation is The loft which at one time served as a smoke house. Its exposed beams feature many of the nails and hangars used in the process and brings an old world ambience to this king bedded room.

In the morning, enjoy your choice of full and continental breakfasts before you start your day. The old tasting room was moved from the cottage to the new barrel room located under part of the old barn. The room is used for events of all kinds, from weddings to corporate meetings and private wine parties.

In 2002, innkeepers Sherry and Glen Sowers produced their first Chardonnay and the Cabernet Sauvignon was soon to follow. The vineyard is located one mile from the front gates of Longwood and nestled next to their property. The lush soil helps to produce some of the best wines available.

Local attractions include Brandywine Valley Wine Trail, Historic Kennett Square, Annual Brandywine Valley Big Bang BBQ, Harvest Festival, Vintner's post harvest celebration, and Kreutzcreek Vineyards. Folly Hill offers many activities including wine tastings, a wine education program, and artwork display.

The vineyard features a wine boutique offering wine for sale on site. Specials and packages are also available.
