Common areas are beautiful and comfortable. Relax in the
living room in front of the Federal-era fireplace. This
spacious room encourages guests to enjoy a good book, join in
pleasant conversation, or play the baby grand piano. There is
also the period billiards room where guests can play a game of
pool or a board game in front of the hearth. Your hosts'
extensive collection of antique games is on display.
All seven beautifully appointed guest rooms offer large
ensuite baths with combination tubs and showers. Lodging
accommodations feature either queen- or king-size beds,
antiques, hardwood floors, and Oriental carpets, and most have
decorative fireplaces. Additional amenities in each room
include a television with VCR, air conditioning, individual
coffee maker, clock radio with CD player and iPod docking
station, hair dryer, and luxurious robes. All guests have
access to the video library located in the billiard room. The
entire house offers free high speed wireless Internet access.
A full gourmet breakfast is served by candlelight in the
formal dining room, which overlooks the sloping lawns and
landmark trees -- a scene that always invokes comments of
appreciation. A microwave, supply of popcorn, and guest
refrigerator stocked with complimentary juices, soft drinks,
bottled water, and a basket of snacks and cookies are located
in the second floor guest pantry. In the evening,
complimentary cordials and walnuts can be found in the library
for your enjoyment after dining at one of the area's fine
restaurants.
