• Payment: The first night's stay is charged at the time of reservation, with balance due at check-out. Most major credits card accepted.
• Cancellation Policy: Cancellation notice must be received at least 10 days prior to scheduled arrival date for refund of deposit. Cancellations with less than 10 days' notice forfeit a refund unless the room is rebooked (which we will try very hard to do). Reservations encompassing special days require a 2-week notification of cancellation.
• Restrictions: Pets allowed on limited basis. No smoking.
• Breakfast: Choice of full country or continental-plus.
• Special Events at Inn: Weddings, receptions, catered parties, and corporate meeting.
• Recreation & Activities: Horseback riding, biking, hiking, canoeing, and golf.
• Attractions & Special Events: Less than 15 minutes: Longwood Gardens, Winterthur Museum, Brandywine River Museum, Chaddsford Winery, Brandywine Battlefield, and Baldwins' Book Barn. 15 to 20 minutes: Delaware Museum of Art, and Hagley Museum of Art. 40 to 50 minutes: The Amish farmlands, Philadelphia Museum of Art, and the Barnes Foundation.
• Directions: From points North (NYC): Take the New Jersey Turnpike South to exit 2 (Sweedsboro). Take Rt. 322 West approx. 8 miles to the Commodore Barry Bridge. Cross bridge into Pennsylvania. Continue on Rt. 322 West approx. 8 more miles to intersection with Rt. 1 (Baltimore Pike). Turn left (South) onto Rt. 1. Follow directions from Rt. 1 (Baltimore Pike) below.
  From points South (Wilmington, DC): Take I-95 North to exit 7 (Wilmington, DE). At top of ramp, go 1 more block and turn left onto Rt. 52 (North). Continue for approx. 10 miles to Rt. 1 (Baltimore Pike). Turn right onto Rt. 1 (North). The Inn is approx. 1 mile after the first traffic light, across from a large white barn on your left. You can't turn left into the Inn because a median strip prevents all turns, therefore, immediately after the barn is a sign “All Turns”. Turn right into “Jug Handle” that allows you to head back (left) onto Baltimore Pike. Look for small yellow sign; if you pass the Chadds Ford Veterinary Hospital you've gone one driveway too far.
  From Points West: Take PA Turnpike East to exit 23 (Downingtown). Take 100 South. Take Rt. 202 South to Rt. 1 (Baltimore Pike). Turn Right onto Rt. 1 (Baltimore Pike) South. Follow directions from Rt. 1 (Baltimore Pike) below.
  From points East and the Philadelphia Airport: Take I-95 South past the airport to "Exit 3 Rt. 322 Westchester". Continue on Rt. 322 West approx. 8 more miles to intersection with Rt. 1 (Baltimore Pike). Turn left (South) onto Rt. 1. Follow directions from Rt. 1 (Baltimore Pike) below.
• From Rt. 1 (Baltimore Pike): The Inn is approx. 0.2 mile after the 8th (5th if coming from Rt. 202) traffic light (cross street Independence Way). We'll be on your right, across from a large white barn. Look for small yellow sign; if you pass the Chadds Ford Veterinary Hospital, you've gone 1 driveway too far.
