Grandma M's Apple Cake

This is a very old family favorite, and I take the recipe with me whenever I serve this at a holiday party or pot luck. This cake is so moist and keeps well for several days.

Ingredients

4 cups finely diced apples

2 cups chopped walnuts

2 cups sugar

2 cups flour

2 eggs

2 teaspoons baking soda

2 teaspoons cinnamon

1/2 cup vegetable oil

1/2 teaspoon salt

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix all ingredients well and pour into a buttered bundt pan. Bake approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes. Each oven is different, so test for doneness beginning at the 1 hour timer. Garnish completely cooled cake with sprinkles of confectioners' sugar. Enjoy!
