French Toast

Ingredients

3/4 loaf white bread, thickly sliced

6 large eggs

1/2 cup milk

1 teaspoon cinnamon

1 teaspoon nutmeg

2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract

Combine and beat eggs, milk, spices, and vanilla. Pour over bread slices and let stand until egg mixture is absorbed. Saute bread slices in butter until golden brown. Serve with pure maple syrup and a selection of sausages, ham, and bacon.
