Trout House Village is a four-season vacation land resort
located on the sandy shoreline of Lake George.

rooms, and motels. The Lodge, circa 1925, offers a homespun
yet elegant nine-bedroom country inn. Each room has been
carefully decorated to display distinct charm and character
and is equipped with cable television, telephone, and private
bath. The Library and The Gallery are among the favorites for
their commanding views of the lake. For the convenience of
families, three suites have kitchen facilities.
A log cabin delight: Fall foliage get-a-ways, winter romance
escapes, spring adventure flings, and summer family vacations
go very well in these comfortable chalets. A kindling
fireplace awaits your arrival in a warm, cozy living room.
Large picture window and private outside porch give way to the
breathtaking view overlooking scenic Lake George. Log cabins
also feature deluxe kitchens, cable television, and
telephones, and some boast luxury jet tubs. During the summer,
families will enjoy the roominess and luxuries of the chalets
for a week long vacation.
Winter time at Trout House Village Resort provides ice
skating and ice fishing as well as cross-country skiing right
in your backyard, on the lake, or just a short ride to groomed
trails. There are miles and miles of beautiful trails for
snowmobilers, too. The natural splendor of Lake George and the
Adirondack Mountains is yours to enjoy and nearby you can
explore Fort Ticonderoga, Fort Mt. Hope, the Penfield Heritage
Museum, and the home of the 1980 Winter Olympics. |
The Lodge has special group and extended stay packages
available. This is a boater's paradise with dock space
available and a 32-mile long lake with hundreds of islands and
beautiful shorelines.
If you like swimming, you will love the 400 feet of natural
sand beach at this resort.
For your pleasure, the lodge provides bikes, canoes,
rowboats, paddle boats, and kayaks, as well as equipment for
croquet, badminton, volleyball, horseshoes, ping-pong,
shuffleboard, and basketball.
You can also use barbecue grills and lounge chairs. Fishing,
golf, tennis, and swimming are all at the resort or nearby.
