Ingredients:

fried diced onions

1/2 package broccoli spears

1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese

4 eggs

2 cups heavy cream

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/8 teaspoon nutmeg

Dash of cayenne pepper

In ready-made pie crust, place a light layer of fried diced onions and package of broccoli spears lightly sauted. Layer cheddar cheese on top.

Vigorously whisk eggs, cream, salt, nutmeg, cayenne pepper together. Pour on top into pie crust. Bake 15 minutes at 425 degrees. Reduce to 350 degrees and continue to bake for another 30 minutes.
