Cromwell Manor Inn is a historic country
estate surrounded by seven acres of woodlands and gardens
north in New York's Hudson Valley. Guests can visit nearby
West Point, explore the many sights of the majestic Hudson
Highlands, or relax for a quiet weekend getaway.
Romance awaits you at Cromwell Manor Inn,
where attention to detail is matched by the period elegance of
this Greek Revival built around 1829 by David Cromwell, an
eminent descendant of England's Oliver Cromwell.
Listed on the National Register of
Historic Places, accommodations here are in two buildings
on the estate. The Manor has nine elegant rooms all with
private baths and all beautifully decorated with period
antiques and fine furnishings. Many rooms have working
wood-burning fireplaces and Jacuzzis. The Chimneys Cottage,
built in 1764, houses four guest rooms furnished with country
primitive antiques, and private baths as well. Air
conditioning is also provided in each room for your comfort.
Additionally, a gourmet full breakfast is served each morning
in the Manor's country dining room or on the veranda.
As a guest at the Manor, you can nestle
down in front of an almost two-century-old fireplace. You can
enjoy a stroll through the formal gardens, play croquet, or
simply relax by the goldfish pond. Beyond the Manor, the
Hudson Valley has many sights to see and places to visit.
