- Payment: For every 3 nights reserved, there is a 1-night
nonrefundable deposit. Visa, MasterCard, and American Express
accepted.
- Cancellation Policy: Cancellation notice must be received
at least 7 days (14 days for group reservations) prior to the
scheduled arrival date for deposit to be credited toward a future
stay. With less notice, the Inn keeps the deposit and does not offer
credit.
- Restrictions: No pets. No smoking. Children welcome -
cribs available by arrangement.
- Breakfast: Extended continental. Wine and cheese
reception every Friday and Saturday, 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.
- Recreation & Activities: Shopping, dining, nightlife,
and sight-seeing.
- Attractions & Special Events: Museums (free passes at
Inn to most major museums), Theodore Roosevelt's Birthplace at 28
East 20th Street, parks, restaurants, theaters, galleries, and
unique boutiques.

- Transportation from the Airports: From JFK:
Taxi at about $35.00 flat rate plus toll and tip. For the return
trip, we suggest taking a flat-rate car service versus a trip via
taxi, which is charged by meter.
From Laguardia: Taxi at metered rate (roughly
$20.00 to $30.00 for most destinations in Manhattan) plus toll and
tip.
From Newark: A train will bring you to
Pennsylvania Station (33rd Street between 7th and 8th Avenues);
numerous bus lines will bring you to Port Authority (bus station;
8th Avenue between 41st and 42nd Streets). We are an easy subway
ride ($2.00) or an inexpensive taxi ride (about $4.00 to $5.00) from
Penn Station or Port Authority.
