Tucked high in the Catskill Mountains, just two hours from New York City, there exists the Inn at Lake Joseph, a romantic 135-year-old Victorian Country Inn on a 250-acre private lake -- surrounded by thousands of acres of hardwood forest and wildlife preserve.

The Inn at Lake Joseph actually consists of three distinct dwellings: The Manor, Carriage House, and a Cottage. Collectively, the three buildings house 15 guest rooms, each with a private bath and many with working fireplaces and whirlpools. Most of the Carriage House and Cottage guest rooms come with kitchen facilities, as well.

The Inn provides a variety of summer and winter recreational facilities, including the use of a nearby full-service health and fitness center. Breakfast is served on the screened-in Veranda, allowing you to enjoy the sounds and feel of the lush, green forest. The Veranda is glassed in during spring and winter, when you can experience the beauty of a surrounding snowscape.
