• Cancellation Policy: Cancellation notice must be received at least 7 days prior to scheduled arrival date for refund. A $50.00 cancellation fee applies to all cancellations.
• Restrictions: No pets (outside ranch animals); service dogs ok. You can bring your horse, plenty of riding trails and boarding available. No smoking. Children 14 and older welcome. No smoking.
• Breakfast: Danish continental breakfast: fresh meats, cheeses, and breads and a hot entree.
• Special Events at Inn: Weddings, family reunions, and barbecues; other events from elegant garden parties to Western with teepee. May 1 - November 1 outdoor events can be arranged.
• Recreation & Activities: Volleyball, horseshoes, games, hiking, picnicking, and walking/riding trails on site. Swim center and hot springs are 5 minutes away. Bring your horse and ride the 200-plus acres. Bicycling -- yearly Death Ride (three mountain passes in one day).
• Attractions & Special Events: Lake Tahoe is 15 minutes away with events like Hot August Nights, Street Vibrations motorcycle rally, and antique wooden boat races at Lake Tahoe, plus world-class soaring, skiing, and golf -- all within an hour. Carson Valley is in the heart of a major tourist destination.
• Recommended Local Restaurants: Renowned Basque restaurants, first-class dining at local golf clubs, casinos, and quaint Cut Throat Saloon in nearby Markleeville, California.
