- Payment: Deposit of 1/2 of anticipated charge due 7 days
prior to reservation date (waived only with express permission of
the owners). Personal and travelers' checks and cash accepted. No
credit cards, please.
- Cancellation Policy: Cancellation notice must be
received at least 72 hours prior to scheduled arrival date for
refund, less 10% of deposit (for processing fee).
- Restrictions: Well-behaved pets are permitted only with
the express permission of the owners (owners have gentle and
well-behaved pets). Fully enclosed and spacious dog run available.
Pets permitted only inside guest bedrooms within the Lodge. Smoking
permitted indoors only in designated areas, primarily enclosed
verandahs, and outdoors. Since there is no liquor license, liquor
can not be served or sold, however, guests may BYOB.
- Breakfast: On-premises chef prepares a full buffet
breakfast served in the dining room between 7:00 and 9:00 a.m. Room
service and special diets with prior arrangement.
- Lunch/Dinner: Lunch, not included in rates, is available
by prior arrangement and rate schedule. Dinner, an all-you-can-eat
buffet with complimentary wine, coffee, and herb teas, is included
in lodging rates and is served at 7:00 p.m. A later, individual
serving time available, but only with prior arrangements. Room
service and special diets with prior arrangement.

- Special Events at Inn: Conference facilities available,
but only for small groups (approximately 12). Specialty events are
catered, but size of event is dependent upon indoor/outdoor
preference. Gatherings of 150 individuals have been hosted.

volleyball, and lawn croquet. Within a mile: water
sports/activities, biking, and hiking.
- Attractions: North: Chaco Culture World
Heritage Site and National Historic Park; Crownpoint Navajo
Rugweavers' Auction; Bisti Badlands Wilderness Area; and De-Na-Zin
Wilderness Area.
East: Bluewater Lake State Park, Sky City/Acoma
Pueblo, Laguna Pueblo, Underground Mining Museum, Dinosaur Museum,
El Malpais National Monument, and Ice Caves/Bandera Crater.
South: El Morro National Monument/Inscription
Rock, Zuni Pueblo/Nuestra Senora de Guadalupe Mission Church, Zuni
Mountain Range, and Cibola National Forest. West:
Red Rock State Park, El Rancho Hotel/Gallup, Petrified National
Forest; Painted Desert National Monument, Hubbell Trading Post;
Hopiland, Navajoland, and Window Rock.
- Special Events: Intertribal Indian Ceremonial every
August (largest gathering of Native Americans in North and South
America, which lasts for 4 days). Red Rock Museum has nightly Indian
dances and ceremonial from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Pow-wows,
rodeos, and fiestas held almost weekly throughout the summer months.

- The Gathering Place/Navajo Co-op (local Navajo
artisans/craftsmen with absolutely unbeatable prices for quality
arts/crafts),
- Crownpoint Navajo Rugweavers' Auction (held the
third Friday monthly, it has the finest venue for Navajo weavers
to sell their authentic woven rugs, and the prices are truly the
lowest anywhere)
- Gallup Rug Auction (indeterminate monthly venue for
selling Native American rugs at reasonable prices)
- Underground Mining Museum/Grants (located in the
Chamber of Commerce building in Grants, it is not only an
interesting and educational tour, but an experience - you ARE in
an actual uranium mine)
- Dinosaur Museum (newly opened, it houses a fine
collection of dinosaurs found in New Mexico, the second leading
excavation site in the U.S. for dinosaur fossils)
- El Malpais National Monument (one of the newest
national monuments and still emerging, it has virtually every
scenic and hiking experience you might wish)
- Zuni Mountains/Cibola National Forest (360,000 acres
of pristine high-altitude pine forest set in a mountainous
location, along the true Continental Divide)
- Villa de Cubero (originally a Spanish colonial penal
colony then a Spanish puebla and now virtually abandoned, you
can tour authentic New Mexico, with fantastic photo
possibilities).
