with its own stables. The grounds still boast quiet
courtyards, narrow brick paths, adobe archways to the street,
and a shady garden sheltered by huge trees. Eighteen cozy
guest rooms, each furnished with works from local artisans --
handcrafted wooden furniture, antiques, vigas, nichos, Kiva
fireplace, and foot-thick adobe walls -- define the
centuries-old Santa Fe tradition of architecture, ambiance,
and hospitality. Each charming casita has its own private
entrance and bath, fireplace, cable color television, and
phone. Seven suites offer full kitchens and sitting rooms with
futons.
A lavish "create-your-own" breakfast buffet,
consisting of a variety of fresh fruits, juices, Danish,
pastries, muffins, yogurts, and cereals served along with
fresh brewed coffee and an assortment of different teas, is

The area is filled with activity, particularly the buzz of
the Santa Fe Plaza with its quaint shops, picturesque
galleries, and intriguing restaurants. Pueblo Bonito Bed and

as hiking, skiing, biking, swimming, and jogging. Those who
prefer a more leisurely time may visit Bandelier National
Monument, ancient Indian pueblos, the Indian and Spanish
