- Payment: Half of stay required as
deposit. Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, and personal
checks accepted.
- Cancellation Policy: Cancellation and
refund permitted 30 days in advance, with a $25.00 administration
fee. Cancellation of all or part of reservation must be made 10 days
in advance of scheduled arrival date to avoid 50% charge for the
nights cancelled. Cancellation within 2 days of scheduled check-in
of any days reserved will result in full amount due.
- Check-in: After 5:00 p.m. or by prior
arrangement. Check-out: 12:00 noon.
- Restrictions: No smoking. We are a
family-oriented home-stay Bed and Breakfast. Pets are welcome with
prior approval by the Innkeeper. Stables nearby for horses.
- Breakfast: Continental breakfast served
on weekdays. Full breakfast is served on weekends. Room service
available upon request.
- Lunch/Dinner: None served, however, all
rooms have small refrigerators and microwaves for simple meals.
- Recreation & Activities: Horseback
riding, golf, tennis, hiking, and biking nearby.
- Attractions & Special Events: October:
Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta and Corrales Harvest Festival. August:
Santa Fe Indian Market. National Parks, Forests, Mountains. Arabian
Horse Fair in Albuquerque. The Bosque del Apache Bird Sanctuary.
- Recommended Local Restaurants: Casa
Vieja, Indigo Crow, Essencia, Rancho de Corrales, Village Pizza in
Corrales, and The Range Cafe in Bernalillo.
- Directions: From I-25 - exit at
Alameda Blvd (NM 528), proceed west, crossing the Rio Grande until
you reach Coors Boulevard--which is also Corrales Road north of
Alameda. Turn right, and continue north through the Village of
Corrales, watching for the San Ysidro Church. Turn east on Dixon
Road, and continue to the Nora Dixon Place sign and lamppost at the
end of our driveway. Parking is located at the east end of the
house--the mountain view side. Sandia Mountain, directly east (in
Spanish, meaning watermelon), rises more than 5,000 feet above the
valley floor to 10,400 feet. The setting sun creates a breath-taking
beautiful rose glow on the ancient granite.
