Ingredients:

2-1/4 cups all-purpose flour

1/2 cup granulated sugar

1/2 cup packed brown sugar

1 Tablespoon baking powder

3/4 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon

2 ripe mashed bananas (1 cup)

1 cup milk

1/4 cup chunky peanut butter

3 Tablespoons cooking oil

1 teaspoon vanilla

1 egg, slightly beaten

One 6-ounce package milk or semi-sweet chocolate pieces

Peanut Butter Frosting

3 Tablespoons chunky peanut butter

2 Tablespoons margarine or butter

1 cup sifted powdered sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla

1 Tablespoon milk (may need more)

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a large bowl, stir together flour, sugars, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon. In another bowl, combine mashed bananas, milk, peanut butter, oil, vanilla, and egg. Add flour mixture, stirring just until combined. Stir in chocolate pieces. Pour batter into 2 greased 8 x 4 x 2-inch loaf pans.

Bake for 50 to 55 minutes or until wooden toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean. Cool in pans for 10 minutes. Wrap and store overnight before serving. To serve, frost with peanut butter frosting.

Peanut Butter Frosting: In a small saucepan, melt peanut butter and margarine/butter. Remove from heat; stir in powdered sugar and vanilla. Stir in milk; add more milk, if necessary, until frosting is of spreading consistency.
