• Minimum stay 2 nights on weekends and 3 nights on special weekends and holidays.

• Check-in: 2:00 p.m. Check-out: 11:00 a.m.
• Payment: A Personal check is our preferred method of payment. An advance deposit of 50% (or 1 night, whichever is greater) by check will be requested to confirm your reservation. The balance is due at check-in time, between 2pm and 11pm. No refunds are permitted. Credit cards, checks, traveler's check, or cash accepted.
• Cancellation Policy: In the event of cancellation, the deposit will be returned less a $35.00 booking fee, if we are able to fill the vacancy.
• Restrictions: No smoking indoors. No pets. Children over the age of 12 are welcome with advance notification.
• Breakfast: Full breakfast. Afternoon refreshments available.
• Lunch and/or Dinner: Restaurant dining on-site.
• Special Events at Inn: Specials, weddings, parties, receptions, special dinners, and group events.
• Recreation & Activities: Ocean / beach relaxation. Use of beach chairs, beach towels & umbrellas. Theatre, films, tours, art exhibits, bicycling, birding, carriage rides, charter/excursion boats, children's activities, concerts, exploring nature, fishing, fitness centers, ghost tours, golf, marinas, museums, parasailing, sailing, spas, therapeutic massage, tennis, vineyards, and whale/dolphin watching.
• Attractions & Special Events: The Mainstay Inn, Cape May Stage and Film, Cape May-Lewes Ferry, Historic Cold Spring Village, Nature Center, Cape May Bird Observatory, and Cape May Day Spa.
• Directions: Follow the Garden State Parkway into town and then turn left at Sidney Street, left again at Washington Street, and right at the traffic island. Follow Pittsburgh Avenue to Beach Drive and turn right. The Peter Shields is located at the corner of Beach and Trenton Aves. Make a right to turn into our parking lot for check in.
