The Honorable Donald T. DiFrancesco former Governor, New Jersey Specialty Recipe Cheesecake

Ingredients

3 packages of Philadelphia cream cheese

One 1-pint container of sour cream

1/4 cup sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla

3 eggs

2 packages Lady Fingers

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Separate eggs. Beat together cream cheese, egg yolks, sour cream, and sugar. In a separate bowl, beat the egg whites until stiff. Mix egg whites with cream cheese batter by hand until mixed thoroughly. Layer one package of Lady Fingers on the bottom of a 12-inch springform pan and one package on the side. Pour batter in pan and bake for one hour. Turn the oven off and let the cake sit in the oven until it cools.
