| The New Hampshire
White Mountains winter season may be where they got their
name but the rest of year they are blaze with color. In
spring they are awash in the seasons freshest green,
which deepens in summer. In autumn, the White dressed in
fiery reds, yellows and oranges. And then winter snows usher
in lots of white time fun. Conway is one of the largest town
in the region, and is the hub of outlet shopping in tax-free
New Hampshire. Jackson is one of the region's most
picturesque villages, famous in part by tumbling Jackson
Falls and Jackson cross country
ski trail
system, rated one of the best in the world. Franconia is the
home of The Old Man of the Mountain, until recently, one of
New Hampshire's most recognizable landmarks. In the 1800s,
Bethlehem was hailed as the "Hay Fever Capital" as
the town's elevation and climate proved beneficial to
sufferers. Every town and village in this area has a story
and a willing
bed
and breakfast innkeepers ready to share their part of
the world with you. |
