New Hampshire Merrimack Valley region is named for the river
that runs through it. The region is full of interesting
places to go and is the most populated and fastest growing
region of the state. New Hampshire's largest cites area
located here; Salem, Nashua, Manchester, and Concord.
Located in North Salem, you can find America's Stonehenge,
which can be used to determine solar and lunar events of the
year. The museum of New Hampshire History is in Concord,
which is also the State Capitol. The New Hampshire
International Speedway can be found in Loudon. "Antique
Alley" is in the town of Milford, located along Route
101A. Visit Canobie Lake Park, a Historic New Hampshire
amusement park opened in 1902 and now features more than 45
rides including 4 coasters, the Log Flume water ride, the
Timber Splash water coaster, an antique carousel, authentic
steam train, skywheel, and over a dozen kiddie rides |
