Mrs. Carroll's Room (photo above left)

This room has outstanding views of Mt. Cranmore, Carter's Notch, and Cathedral Ledge. Remodeled in old-fashioned decor, this room has luxurious amenities: gas fireplace, queen-size bed, and a two-person Jacuzzi in the bedroom at the base of a 5-foot by 5-foot picture window which overlooks Mt. Cranmore lighted for night skiing. There are views to the north where one can see horses frolicking in the pasture, the perennial garden, and White Horse and Cathedral Ledges. A private bath has a shower, hardwood maple floors with hooked rugs, and lace curtains. Truly romantic! A bit of history -- Mrs. Carroll became your host's (Rick's) grandmother's best friend over the years while visiting every summer from the 1950's through 1970's.

The Bride-Delue's Suite
(photo right)

This suite is two rooms with a connecting shower/tub bathroom. The rooms can be used as a private suite or separately as two private rooms with a semi-private bath. Perfect for a family of four or five or for two couples.

Delue's Room

A large but cozy corner room with cross-ventilation and air conditioning, this room is fully carpeted and has one queen-size bed plus one maple twin bed and a private shower bath with small tub. There are views to the north pasture, the perennial garden, and White Horse and Cathedral Ledges. The room is furnished with a dresser with mirror and marble top as well as other antiques. This room was named after Mr. Delue, a travel writer for the Boston Globe who stayed in this room when he visited The Farm year after year for 20 years or more. This room is especially nice in the summer when the garden is in bloom.

The Bride's Room

A light and airy corner room with views out to the north pasture and Cathedral and White Horse Ledges. Fully carpeted, this room has air conditioning, a fireplace, king-size bed with down comforter, and matching antique furniture. This room is called the Bride's room because the hostess, Charlene, used this room to get ready to marry her husband, Rick.
