Situated on Lake Winnisquam, Ferry Point House Bed and Breakfast is a gracious Victorian built in the early 1800's by the Pillsbury family as their "summer retreat."

This is truly a picturesque location where you can enjoy romantic moments in the gazebo on the Water's edge, or join other guests in conversation on the 60-foot veranda overlooking the lake.

The Ferry Point House has seven tastefully decorated guest rooms, all with private baths. The antique furnishing and decor speak of a by-gone era, yet create an atmosphere of warmth and comfort. Modern amenities include air-conditioned rooms and Wireless Internet Access. The grand fieldstone fireplace in the common room makes for a special ambience.

You will be treated to a memorable gourmet breakfast each morning which may include such specialties as stuffed french toast, french breakfast crepes, cheese baked apples, poached pears in raspberry sauce and much more. Diane loves to cook and her sumptuous breakfast shows the care and joy she takes in her recipes. In fact her recipes are so much in demand that she created her own cookbook, "The Ferry Point House Cookbook."

After breakfast, you may want to relax by the lake, which provides great swimming, fishing and boating opportunities, or explore nearby areas of interest.

The inn's central New Hampshire location allows for easy day trips to the surrounding states of Maine, Vermont, and Massachusetts as well as easy access to all New Hampshire attractions.

The inn is only 90 minutes from Boston and is open from May through November 1st.
