Shirred Eggs

Ingredients

2 eggs

2 teaspoons cream

grated cheese

salt (to taste)

pepper to taste)

paprika

Turn oven to 400 degrees.

Spray dish with a little PAM (makes it easier to clean). Put a pat of butter in dish. Melt in oven for 3 minutes. On top of butter put 1 teaspoon of cream. Crack two eggs in dish. Sprinkle a little salt and pepper over. Sprinkle shredded cheese over egg yolks to cover. Drizzle 1 teaspoon of cream over cheese.

Bake in 400-degree oven for 12-13 minutes. They will jiggle very slightly when you take them out of the oven and will finish cooking when you let them rest for 3-4 minutes before serving. You can place the dish on the dinner plate or slide the eggs out of the dish onto the plate. Sprinkle a little paprika on top.
