Dry Ingredients

2 cups all-purpose organic flour

1 Tablespoon baking powder

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg (optional)

Wet Ingredients:

2 large eggs, organic

1 cup milk, organic

2/3 cups organic sugar

8 Tablespoons warm melted butter

1 teaspoon vanilla

Preheat oven at 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Whisk together dry ingredients in one bowl and wet in another. Add wet ingredients to the dry mixture and mix together with a few light strokes. Do not over-mix. The batter should not be smooth. Fold in raspberries. Top muffins before baking with sugar and slices of almonds.

Makes: About 12 muffins
