Located in the nationally acclaimed Corolla Light Resort
Village on the Outer Banks of North Carolina, The Inn at
Corolla Light is the ideal setting to choose for a getaway or
extended vacation.
Nestled among the seclusion of stately water oaks and tall
pines along historic Currituck Sound, The Inn at Corolla Light
offers guests luxurious hotel lodging accommodations as well
as a variety of activities to suit your particular pleasure.
Unlike at the often cramped inns of yesteryear, you'll find
43 new and individualized rooms and suites much to your
liking, many with gas fireplaces and separate sitting and
entertainment areas offering spectacular views of the
Currituck Sound. As an added convenience, most lodgings are
outfitted with modern kitchenettes for private in-room dining.
You'll find most rooms available with luxurious whirlpools.
While suites are designed to provide intimate, yet spacious
accommodations, couples, children or additional guests can be
easily accommodated, as most rooms offer comfortable sleep
sofas. Operated by a staff of capable and courteous resort
professionals, you'll find yourself feeling very much at home
at The Inn. Plan to be impressed and captivated by all the
sights and sounds that are as much a part of the intrigue of
Corolla as The Inn itself.
In the mornings, a continental-plus breakfast is served in
the dining area. In the evenings, enjoy beautiful sunsets at
the soundfront gazebo.
Plan your next business, group or family gathering with The
Inn. Inquire about special rates for large groups. Using the
conference facilities and diversities available at Corolla
Light, you'll find the staff's ability to accommodate groups
second to none.
As a guest at The Inn, feel free to toss your car keys
because you won't need them. Walk, trolley or bike to the many
activities available at Corolla Light. There are seven outdoor
tennis courts, three of which are clay courts. There are also
two oceanfront pools as well as a baby pool, the Oceanfront
restaurant and lounge (seasonal), grass putting golf course,
walking and biking trails, and playgrounds. The Indoor Sports
Center is equipped with a competition pool, hot tub and
saunas, two clay tennis courts, racquet and "wally"
ball courts, an exercise room, tennis pro instruction,
aerobics, and other activities.
Activities abound just around the corner because Corolla is
truly "the playground of the Outer Banks." Nowhere
else are there as many things to do and experience, no matter
the time of year, all within a few minutes of The Inn. |
Swim, surf or sunbathe the wide north beaches; sail,
windsurf, swim and crab at the Inn's soundfront pier; take
pictures of the Spanish mustangs and other wildlife; dine in
over a dozen local restaurants; shop among unique boutiques,
stores and art galleries; fish in the surf, sound, or
Gulfstream offshore; drive a 4-WD vehicle or rent an ATV to
explore the northern beaches; go tandem hang gliding above the
beach; or climb the historic Currituck Lighthouse. (Don't
forget to take your camera!) Picnic at the historic Whalehead
Hunt Club; ascend Penny's Hill (the largest sand dune around);
hike in the nearby Wildlife Sanctuary, False Cape Park or
Audubon Preserve; and enjoy fall and winter with thousands of
waterfowl visitors along with quiet beaches, generally
beautiful weather and a more relaxed pace.
Whether a relaxing retreat, romantic rendezvous, or an
action-packed visit to these exciting and beautiful northern
Outer Banks beaches, a stay at The Inn at Corolla Light is in
a class all its own. |
