Originally constructed in 1902 and now designated as one of
Waynesville's historic properties, Andon Reid Inn Bed and
Breakfast is a turn-of-the-century home which reflects all the
beauty, grace and charm of Western North Carolina and the
surrounding Great Smoky Mountains.

Large windows, tall ceilings, extensive hardwood, eight
fireplaces, and veranda porches are but a few of the original
attributes of this beautiful old home.
Each guest room offers a private bath, air conditioning, and
special individual amenities that make each accommodation
unique, comfortable, and relaxing. Some guest rooms have
2-person Jacuzzi tubs, fireplaces, sitting areas, and/or extra
daybeds. One room even has a private sun room while another
offers a private sun deck.
The Grand Library is a large first-floor,
two-room suite with queen-size bed, two fireplaces, Jacuzzi
tub, glass shower, refrigerator, air conditioning, and stereo.
For your comfort and safety, all suites offer individual
temperature control, sound-proofing, and smoke detectors.
Common areas are tastefully decorated to make you feel
right at home. As you enter Andon Reid Inn, the foyer entices
you with its rich warm tones of the solid oak panels and open
staircase.
A full four-course breakfast awaits you each morning in the
dining room with a full view of the mountains. After

The Garden Room (pictured left) is perfect for a quiet
evening of relaxation near the stone fireplace or an evening
of enjoyment while watching your favorite events on
television. The lower level recreation area affords you to
opportunity to watch a movie, play shuffleboard, darts or
pool. Or exercise a while, then relax in a 30 minutes sauna.
Enjoy hiking, mountain biking, or skiing at Cataloochee Ski
Area. Whitewater rafting, golf, fishing, and horseback riding
are other options. The scenic Blue Ridge Parkway, Biltmore
Estate and Gardens are nearby, as well as the Great Smoky
Mountain Railroad.
Whether it be the soft colors of Spring with rhododendron
and dogwood in bloom, summer's cool mountain breezes, the
picturesque colors of crimson and gold in autumn, or a crisp,
clear winter day under blue Carolina skies, western North
