With stunningly beautiful ocean views from every guestroom,
Agua Azul la Villa offers a tranquil vacation destination on
placid Conejos Bay in a quiet residential area of Huatulco,
Mexico's premiere Eco-Resort on the Pacific Ocean less than
200 miles south of Acapulco.
Designed as a bed and breakfast in the Pacific Coast style,
Aqua Azul la Villa integrates architecture and the
environment, relying heavily on natural materials such as
clay, wood, and palapa (palm thatch).
Each of the six air-conditioned, ocean-view guestrooms is
on its own level, affording a high degree of privacy to each
guest. Queen-sized beds with top-quality mattresses assure
your comfort. In addition, each room opens onto its own
spacious patio or terraza with shade palapa, hammock, potted
plants, table, and chairs.
Both the Caracol and Tortuga
rooms are close to the pool, while the spacious Delfin
Room is one level below the main salon. The
Pelicano Room is a half-level above the main salon.
With domed ceiling and the largest terrace, the room offers
the most expansive view. Located just above the garden and
pool area, the Marlin Room also features a
domed ceiling. Designed for a couple or two individuals
traveling together, the Orcas Room is located
a half-level below the main salon and includes two beds.
The main salon, where breakfast is served, is under a domed
palapa roof thirty feet in diameter. This room is at your
disposal for playing cards or board games or just chatting
with fellow guests. The two-tiered cascading swimming pool is
surrounded by gardens with a shade palapa and lounge chairs to
one side.
Every morning, a savory continental breakfast is served to
you before taking on the day's activity. Freshly squeezed
juice, ripe tropical fruits, granola with milk or yogurt, a
variety of freshly baked goods, and the famous locally grown
Oaxaca coffee make a delicious meal. |
Located on placid Conejos Bay, Agua Azul la Villa overlooks
Tejoncito Cove and is only a three-minute walk to its private,
sandy, swimmable beach.
The broad range of water sports available include deep-sea
fishing, SCUBA diving, snorkeling, and swimming.
Three minutes via car will take you to the hotels, shops,
and restaurants of Tangolunda Bay.
Golf is only five minutes away, and the scenic marina of
Santa Cruz as well as the colorful Mexican community of La
Crucecita, both of which have parks, markets, shops, and
restaurants, are ten minutes away. Taxis are inexpensive and
readily available, and cars and mopeds are available for rent.
Unspoiled beaches and crystal water make Huatulco one of the
most beautiful spots on the Pacific coast. This is where the
Sierra Madre del Sur meets the Pacific Ocean, offering
breathtaking views in all directions.
This relatively undiscovered tropical paradise awaits you,
and it all begins at Agua Azul la Villa. |
