Moose Ridge Lodge is located near the town of Libby at the
northwest corner of Montana. In the heart of the Rocky
Mountains where towering pine trees, icy streams, wildlife and
jagged mountain peaks fill the senses, this rustic home in the
wilderness is your starting point for fabulous adventure.
The main lodge is built of massive, natural logs and boasts
a two thousand square foot, wraparound, veranda style porch
where guests may enjoy a great cup of coffee, swing away any
tensions, or take an afternoon nap in one of the hammocks. The
'Paul Bunyan' atmosphere continues inside the lodge with round
log rafters, trophy game mounted on the walls and a huge stone
fireplace that warms the living area. If you choose the
stand-alone Moose Paddle Lodge your seclusion and privacy are
guaranteed in similar rustic decor.
In the main lodge, a polished half-log stairway leads to
your cozy room with queen size log bed, a large picture window
to bring the outdoors in and your own private bath with corner
shower. Guests have free use of the main house which consists
of the great room with fireplace, open dining area, loft and
access to a computer and fax. The Moose Paddle Cabin
is private and completely self sufficient. It comes equipped
with its own great room with cozy wood burner (plenty of
firewood provided), bath, loft style bedroom and fully
equipped kitchen. Angler Cabin is also private and
comes equipped with kitchenette, fireplace, and porch with
grill.
A full, hearty breakfast is served daily in the main lodge.
If you stay in the Moose Paddle Lodge you are free to create
your own meals in the convenient kitchen.

cross-country skiing across miles and miles of wilderness, the
outdoor enthusiast will agree, this is paradise. |
