There are 14
quaint guest rooms in the Inn, several with fireplaces and
all with private baths. Each lodging accommodation is
furnished with antiques and reproductions. Some rooms have
sitting areas, and some even have water and/or garden
views. One room is handicapped accessible. In addition,
there are three cottages with complete kitchens spread out
over the Inn's two rolling acres, affording you vacation
rental privacy.
The spacious
Breakfast and Common rooms have original maple floors and
a large wood-burning fireplace; a unique feature is the
3,500 square feet of embossed tin ceilings and walls.
Guests are invited to sit and relax on the enclosed sun
porch and enjoy the sunset over the Kalamazoo Lake, read a
book from the Inn's library, sip a beverage, add the next
piece to the ongoing jigsaw puzzle, or watch cable
television or a movie from the Inn's video library.
Gourmet
breakfasts are served to you every morning from 9:00 to
10:30 a.m., with coffee and tea available for early
risers. Breakfast includes specialty coffee and tea
selection; choice of juices; warm, fresh-baked breads and
rolls; fresh fruit; hot, baked entree; and a buffet of dry
cereals and toasts. Entrees may include baked French
toast, egg casseroles, and quiche.
After a busy
day, take a refreshing dip in the outdoor pool in the
summer or unwind in the large indoor whirlpool hot tub.
Take a walk on the grounds and enjoy the terraced gardens,
pond, and the birds. |
