On the quiet village green in the center of Saugatuck stands

takes you to neighboring Douglas, with additional shops and

If you are in the mood for some recreation, the scenic
harbor is one block away and offers plenty of water fun,
including excursion rides, the historic chain ferry, fishing
charters, sailing boats, water taxis, and the authentic
paddlewheel boat The Star of Saugatuck. Oval Beach is ten
minutes away by car, or ride the chain ferry across Kalamazoo
Lake and climb Mount Baldhead through the dunes to Lake
Michigan. For golf enthusiasts, the hotel is also close to
four challenging 18-hole golf courses and a state-of-the-art
indoor driving range.
