Greencrest Manor, a mansion in the French-Normandy style
of architecture, offers pastoral serenity as reflected by
the surrounding beauty of Michigan's St. Mary's Lake. |

Located just seven minutes from downtown Battle Creek
and halfway between Detroit and Chicago, this European
manor is an ideal stop for business executives looking for
a comfortable alternative to hotel accommodations. Begun
as the private home of one of Battle Creek's most
prominent residents, the estate was used as a Catholic
monastery during the 1960's, and some 25 years later, Tom
and Kathy VanDaff restored the manor to its former glory.
Greencrest Manor's spacious reception and banquet
facilities accommodate up to 200 people, and eight
beautiful rooms, six with private baths, provide overnight
lodging. The VIP Suite, popular for those seeking a
romantic interlude, features a double whirlpool,
fireplace, and large down sofa. All rooms are air
conditioned and come with cable television and telephones.
Lovely rolling meadows serve as the perfect venue for
special-occasion garden parties and weddings.
Greencrest Manor is set in the elegant tradition of
Europe's finest hotels, but the warm and casual atmosphere
reminds one of home. It quite simply is a retreat to
European yesteryear with all of the conveniences of
modern-day America -- an invigorating experience you won't
soon forget. |

In the morning, enjoy a continental breakfast. After
breakfast, head out to view the acreage on beautiful walking
paths and cross-country ski trails for plenty of fresh-air
stimulation year-round. The finely groomed links of the nearby
Marywood Golf Club and Bedford Valley Golf Course, both open
to the public, offer business travelers stress relief. For
those seeking cultural diversity, you can find the bustling
excitement of the big city in Chicago and Detroit, two and
three hours away, respectively. |
