  Loft Efficiency Apartment: 1 bedroom, 1 bath, and efficiency kitchen; sleeps 4. Internet access is offered as a courtesy to guests.

• Rates: Rates shown are daily rates. Discount for weekly rentals in the loft. There is an additional $10.00 charge for 1-night stays in July and August. Rates do not include tax and rate subject to change without notice.

  One third of the total cost of the rental (rent plus sales tax plus security deposit) will be due within two weeks of the time the reservation is made. The balance is to be paid in full two weeks prior to arrival. The rent requires Maine sales tax of 7% and a $200 security deposit. The security deposit will be held up to 60 days after the renter's departure from Wood-Sea, at which time it will be returned

  Rentals are scheduled from Saturday to Saturday. Check in time is 3:00 pm Saturday, and check-out time is 10:00 am Saturday. The key is obtained from Charlie or Ann at the Island House on the afternoon of arrival. On the morning of departure, one of them will meet the renter at Wood-Sea to retrieve the key. Internet access is offered as a courtesy to guests.

• Reservations: Reservations are recommended at least two weeks in advance. Call (207) 244-5180, Email: islandab@adelphia.net or contact a travel agent. Minimum stay is 2 nights in August for Main House. Minimum stay is 2 nights in Carriage House.

• Payment: For reservation of one night only, the full rental amount is required in advance and within 10 days of request. For reservations of more than one night, one-half of the total rental amount will be required in advance and within 10 days of the request. Personal and travelers' checks and cash preferred for payment. Visa and MasterCard used to hold rooms.
• Cancellation Policy: Cancellation notice must be received at least 2 weeks prior to scheduled arrival date, and the deposit less a $20.00 service feel will be returned. If less notice is given, one-half of the deposit will be returned, unless room is rebooked for the entire stay.
• Restrictions: No pets. No smoking. Children 5 years and older welcome.
• Breakfast: Full, varied breakfast included with all accommodations.
• Recreation & Activities: Swimming, sailing, canoeing, kayaking, biking, hiking, golf, and tennis nearby.
• Attractions & Special Events: Acadia National Park, ocean, and mountains.
• Directions: From Ellsworth, follow Route 3 East approximately 8 miles to the junction of Route 3 and Route 102. Bear right on Route 102 for about 10 miles, following the signs into Southwest Harbor. Past the cove on the left at the bottom of the hill and turn right on the Seal Cove Road. Drive 1/2 mile to the top of the hill and turn left onto Freeman Ridge Road. We are located 4/10 of a mile on the right at number 36.
