Fruit Tart

Ingredients - Crust:

1 cup all-purpose flour

5 Tablespoon butter, softened

1/8 teaspoon salt

2 Tablespoons sugar

2 Tablespoons water

Cream Cheese Filling:

Two 8-ounce packages cream cheese, softened

1/4 cup sugar

4 teaspoons milk

1/2 teaspoon vanilla

Crust: In a medium bowl, knead flour, salt, sugar, and water until dough forms a ball, adding a little more water if needed. Pat pastry into bottom and up side of a 9-inch tart pan or tart pan shaped like a heart with a removable bottom. Bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes. Take out of pan after it has cooled.

Cream Cheese Filing: Combine all ingredients for the filling in a 2-quart bowl. Mix until smooth. Spread in tart crust after crust has cooled. Top with fresh fruit or pie filling.
