For nearly half a century, the Lusty family has invited
guests to enjoy the privacy and casual comfort of Dockside
Guest Quarters, a New England Inn situated on a seven-acre
private peninsula bordering York Harbor and the great Atlantic
Ocean in Maine.
The Lookout, Crow's Nest, Quarterdeck, and Captain's
Quarters are separate, multi-unit buildings nestled along the
shore. Each accommodation is air-conditioned and has a private
deck with water view. Lodging options include individual
rooms, studios, and suites with small kitchens. The Maine
House is a classic New England "cottage" with a
large wrap-around porch complete with wicker rockers. The view
from here is quintessential coastal Maine, overlooking the
harbor to the north and the Atlantic to the east. Guest rooms
are furnished with period antiques and marine paintings.
Warmth and downeast charm are found throughout.
A "Continental - Plus" is included every morning.
The Dockside Restaurant features a screened porch and
overlooks York Harbor and the Marina. The chef creates an
extensive menu each season, specializing in fresh "off
the boat" Maine seafood, expertly prepared.
Local festivals, celebrations, and artisan's craft shows are
held all year long. The famous Ogunquit Playhouse is close by.
York's town center is a National Historic District, and boasts
many fine local crafts shops and art galleries. World-famous
outlet shopping is just five miles away in Kittery, Maine. The
Lustys invite you to come, explore...relax and enjoy! There is
no other place like Dockside Guest Quarters. |
The Dockside provides a variety of distinctive
accommodations and a quality restaurant with wonderful water
views.
Wedding ceremonies are very special events at the Dockside.
The large front lawn of the historic inn gently slopes into
the ocean to create a one of a kind ocean view. The Dockside
offers wedding couples and their parties all the services you
will need to plan a beautiful wedding Day.
York offers visitors a diversity of experiences. Four sandy
beaches, whale watching, lobstering excursions, and deep sea
fishing are a few of the activities to whet your appetite for
the sea. A scenic cruise, exclusively for guests, piloted by
one of the Lustys, departs from the Dockside pier. Golfers can
sample many fine public courses throughout York County. Nature
enthusiasts will find ample nature trails and preserved lands
for hiking, biking, skiing, and exploring. |
