- Payment: Payment is due in full at the
time of arrival.
- Cancellation Policy: We are a small
facility and cancellations greatly impact us. Notice of cancellation
received at least 14 days prior to scheduled arrival date will be
subject to a 10% administrative fee. If cancellation is received
less than 14 days of scheduled arrival date, guest will be
responsible for the full amount due. During festivals, weddings, or
other special events, additional restrictions may apply. Please
contact us for details.
- Restrictions: Smoking allowed outside
only. No pets. Innkeepers can recommend local boarding alternatives
upon request. The Inn is not suitable for small children. All
children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
- Breakfast: Three course breakfast with
seasonal fruit, homemade breads, regional fruit jams, coffee and
tea.
- Special Events at Inn: Small weddings
and conferences can be accommodated. In-room massage can be arranged
with a licenced therapist.
- Business travelers: have use of desktop
computer, lazer printer, color injet printer, scanner and fax
machine. We are located just a block from the Knox County
Courthouse.
- Recreation & Activities: Several
games, TV with cable, and an extensive DVD collection are available
in the living room.
- Attractions & Special Events: The
Inn is located a few blocks from beautiful Rockland Harbor on
Penobscot Bay and right near the world renowned Farnsworth Art
Museum & Wyeth Center. Rockland, the lobster capital of Maine,
is also home to the Maine Lighthouse Museum, beautiful art
galleries, European shopping and fine dining.

- Directions: From Boston, (189 miles,
3-1/2 hours): Take I-95 into the State of Maine to I-295,
Exit 44 in South Portland. Then follow directions from Portland
below.
From Portland, (82 miles, 1-1/2 hours): Take
I-295 North to Exit 28 to U.S. Route 1 North (Coastal Route) at
Brunswick. Follow U.S. Route 1 North approximately 50 miles to
Rockland. At third light in town, turn left onto Main Street.
Proceed six short blocks and turn left onto Limerock St. We are on
the left.
Alternate From Portland (Recommended for summer
season): Continue on I-295 North to end and merge with I-95
North (Maine Turnpike). Proceed to Exit 109 (Augusta) and follow
signs for Route 17 East to Rockland. At first blinking light in
town, bear right onto North Main St. At next stop light turn right
onto Broadway. Proceed to the second stop light and turn left on
Limerock St. We are on the right.
From Quebec, Canada (156 miles, 3-1/2 hours):
At the U.S. border, Route 173 South becomes Route 201 South. Follow
Route 201 South and merge onto I-95 South. Proceed on I-95 South to
Exit 109 (Augusta). Follow Route 17 East to Rockland. . At first
blinking light in town, bear right onto North Main St. At next stop
light turn right onto Broadway. Proceed to the second stop light and
turn left on Limerock St. We are on the right.
