The Pentagöet Inn Bed and Breakfast regally overlooks the village and harbor of Castine, Maine. This charming Queen Anne Victorian was built in 1894 and is nestled on a seaside bluff, graced with majestic elms.

The Pentagöet Inn, with its three story turret and wraparound porch, offers fine and comfortable accommodations and is a favorite spot to come and relax.

Sixteen guestrooms, furnished with antiques, vintage lithographs, luxury linens, down pillows and old-fashioned floral coverlets, display the care and attention to detail reminiscent of a fine European hotel. Each accommodation comes with a private bath and most with a king-size bed while several guestrooms have a claw foot tub and fireplace. One guestroom features a flower-bedecked balcony. Other amenities include use of the on-site bicycles, Wi-Fi, and a guest computer.

In the morning, enjoy a full country breakfast and freshly brewed hot coffee. Breakfast menu items may include Maine blueberries picked at a local farm, homemade granola, featherbed eggs, baked apple French toast, and muffins and scones warm from the oven. You can have your breakfast on the deck or sit at a table for two in the dining room. The Pentagöet Inn also features an on-site pub, the Passports Pub, which is the perfect place to start your evening.
