Five minutes away from Acadia National Park at Schoodic and 10 minutes from the 3,500-acre Petit Manan Wildlife Refuge and Bird Sanctuary. There are opportunities for swimming, hiking, canoeing, kayaking, biking, fishing, sailing, bird watching, and golf. Peninsula offers a winery, bell foundry, and many fine artisans and antiquing opportunities.
