Tell your hosts you found them on 1st Traveler's Choice. (www.virtualcities.com) - Minimum stay: 2 nights on weekends June 13 through October 13. There is a 3 night minimum stay on Holidays.
- Payment: A deposit must accompany all reservations. The first night of your stay must be paid for in advance in order to confirm your reservation. Reservations for 4 nights or longer require one-half the total as a deposit. Balance is due in full upon your arrival. Visa, Master Card, Discover, American Express. Travelers Check, or cash accepted.
- Check-in: 3:00 pm - 7:00 pm Special arrangements can be made for Late Arrivals. Check-out: before 11:00 a.m.
- Cancellation Policy: Cancellation notice received at least 21 days prior to scheduled arrival date for a return of deposit minus a $25.00 cancellation fee. Rooms cancelled less than 21 days prior to scheduled arrival date, you deposit less the $25.00 fee will be returned if we are able to re-rent your room for the period reserved. are no refunds on early departures.
- Restrictions: Children welcome. Smoking is not allowed in the Inn or Cottage. Smoking is permitted on the front porches only. No pets.
- Breakfast: Continental served every morning.
- Special Inn Events: Guests of Atlantic Birches Inn may use common areas, swimming pool in season, and croquet and badminton lawn.
- Attractions & Special Events: Old Port Historic Shopping District, Civil Center, Scarborough, Saco, Biddleford, Camp Ellis, Portland Harbor, Kennebunkport Harbor, and L.L. Bean. Freeport or Kittery for Outlet Shopping or Kennebunkport for distinctive gifts. Whale watching, lighthouse boat tours, sailing, kayaking, canoeing, tennis, shuffle board, bocce, horseback riding, golf, and beach activities.
- Recommended Local Restaurants: Old Orchard Beach Pier, the Landmark Restaurant .
- Directions: From
Portland- Follow Route 1 South to intersection of 1 and 98.
Take left onto Route 98. Go 2.6 miles, Inn is on the right.
From Route 9: Turn inland at town square (amusements) onto Route 5. Go up the hill, turn right at the stop sign onto Route 98. Inn is 3rd building on the left.
From the South: Take I-95 Maine Turnpike to Exit 36 (Saco-Old Orchard Beach). On I-195, get off at exit #2B, for Route 1 North. Go 2.6 miles north on Route 1 to 3rd traffic light intersection of 1 & Route 98. Turn right onto 98. Go 2.6 miles, Inn is on the right. - MORE: Guest Accommodations & Photos
