The Inn at Sunrise Point is an
award-winning Maine Coast Bed and Breakfast located directly
on the waterfront overlooking Penobscot Bay near the towns
Camden and Lincolnville in the Midcoast Maine region.
This luxury oceanfront hideaway resides on
5 secluded acres, located within minutes of the village of
Camden, Maine. All rooms and cottages at this coastal Maine
Bed and Breakfast have spectacular views, private decks,
fireplaces and a wealth of amenities and services to pamper
you. Complimentary gourmet breakfasts are served each morning
in the ocean view conservatory.
In fact the breakfasts here are raved about
as much as the view. Start your morning with Maine roasted
Carrabassett coffee or a wide array of teas. Then choose a
favorite from freshly baked breads, scones and muffins. Each
breakfast includes a fruit course, with the Inn featuring
local farm grown fruits such as blueberries and strawberries
in season. The main course varies day to day but guest
favorites include poached eggs with prosciutto, roasted
asparagus and chive oil; Belgian waffles with warm peach
compote and maple glazed bacon; locally smoked salmon and
goat cheese omelets; and whole wheat pancakes topped with wild
Maine blueberries or raspberries. The Inn has a full liquor
license and is happy to serve you the wine or cocktail of your
choice. Complimentary soft drinks and bottled water are
available in all guest refrigerators.
In the morning pick up a cup of hot
chocolate or coffee and head out to the deck or lawn chairs
for your own front row seat to some of Maine's most beautiful
scenery. The Inn at Sunrise Point Bed and Breakfast is truly a
peaceful private sanctuary - a world away yet close to
everything. |
The Inn at Sunrise Point is located on one
of the most beautiful parts of the Maine coast and if you wish
to do more than sit and watch the water, there are a host of
activities available to you. Two miles away is Mt. Battie with
spectacular views of Camden Harbor, Penobscot Bay with its
many islands, inland lakes and mountains.
Plan to see the area with a lovely bicycle
ride through rolling countryside, beside crystal clear lakes
and the spectacular Maine coastline. Sail on a historic
schooner. Take a guided and narrated lighthouse tour aboard a
restored lobster fishing boat and you'll likely see some of
the bay wildlife such as seals, porpoise, eagles and various
sea birds. |
