- Payment: Deposit is one night's stay.
Deposits are credited to the last night(s) of your stay. For July
and August 5 or more room night reservations must be secured with an
advanced deposit of 50% of the entire charges, payable at the time
of reservation. The balance of the room charges are due ninety (90)
days prior to scheduled arrival. Visa, MasterCard, Discover,
American Express and personal checks accepted.
- Cancellation Policy: Cancellation
notice must be received at least 14 days prior to your scheduled
arrival date for refund of deposit, less a $10.00 handling charge.
If less than 14 days notice is received you will be charged the
entire length of stay. For July and August multiple room night
reservations, any changes to the reservation must be made ninety
(90) days prior to scheduled arrival date in order to receive a full
refund. Cancellation less than 90 days prior to scheduled arrival
will only be refundable if the rooms can be rebooked.
- Check-in: 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Check-out:
11:00 a.m.
- Restrictions: No pets. All guest rooms
are non-smoking.
- Breakfast: Full.
- Special Events at Inn: Banquets,
meetings, retreats, workshops and weddings. Spacious lakeside lawn
and gardens and a lakeside dining room that seats 150 with catering
with personalized service and wedding planning.
- Recreation & Activities: Games,
wildlife watching, hiking, fishing, canoeing, kayaking, lake
swimming, ice skating, cross-country skiing, and snowmobiling on
site.
- Surrounding Attractions & Special
Events: Located on Alamoosook Lake (fishing for bass, trout,
pickerel, and salmon). Craig Brook Fish Hatchery, Great Pond
Mountain, Bangor (20 miles), and Acadia National Park (30 miles).
Also near Castine, Blue Hill, and Bucksport.
- Directions: From Points South &
West: Take I-95 North to Augusta. From Augusta, take Rt. 3
East to Belfast. In Belfast, Rt. 3 will join Rt. 1. Take Rt. 1 to
Bucksport. Follow From Bucksport directions below.
From Points North: From I-95 at Bangor, take
I-395 South. Exit at Rt. 15 to Bucksport. Rt. 15 joins Rt. 1 in
Bucksport. Follow From Bucksport directions below.
From Bucksport: Three miles east of Bucksport
on Rt. 1, turn north on Upper Falls Road (at the yellow blinking
light directly across from the H.O.M.E. Co-op). Go 1.5 miles and
turn right past our sign at Soper Road. Follow Soper Road
approximately 1.5 miles to the end of the road and Alamoosook Lodge.
