• Payment: To guarantee your reservation, we require a check or credit card deposit in the full amount for 1 and 2 nights' lodging. Stays of 3 nights and longer require a deposit of 3 nights' lodging. Visa, MasterCard, cash, Personal and Travelers Checks accepted. .
  Check-in: 3:00 - 8:00 p.m. Please call if you are delayed. Check-out: 11:00 a.m.
• Cancellation Policy: Because of our size, cancellations affect us significantly. Therefore, we adhere to a strict cancellation policy. Last-minute cancellations, regardless of the reason, will result in forfeiture of your deposit. All deposits are non-transferable to another date. However, you are always welcome to send a friend or family member in your place. All cancellations are subject to a $15.00 service charge per room.
  To cancel, re-schedule or shorten your reservation, regardless of the reason, please contact the Inn no later than ten (10) days prior to your scheduled arrival date. A book -keeping fee of $35 applies to all cancellations and changes. Please note that should you need to cancel or change the dates less than ten (10) days prior to your scheduled arrival date, every effort will be made to re-rent your room, however, you are responsible for the entire amount of your reserved stay if your reservation cannot be re-booked. The only exceptions are if your state police or ours issues a warning that all people stay off the roads for inclement weather.
• Restrictions: We can accommodate a pet in Russell's Cottage. Pets can not be left alone in the cottage unless they are in their own crate. A $50.00 pet fee applies per stay. No smoking indoors. No burning candles. Children 12 and older are welcome.
• Breakfast: Full gourmet breakfast served from 8:00 - 10:00 a.m and afternoon tea served from 4:00 - 5:00 p.m included in rate.

• Directions: From the Chesapeake Bay (South): Travel east across the Chesapeake Bay Bridge on Rt. 50/Rt. 301. Approximately 9 miles after the bridge, follow Rt. 301 North toward Wilmington. After 6 miles, take exit 213 North Centreville/Chestertown. Continue for 19 miles on Rt. 213 North. This will bring you across the Chester River bridge into Chestertown. Continue to the 5th traffic light. At traffic light, turn left onto Rt. 291 West. Follow Rt. 291 West to the dead end. Turn right onto Rt. 20 West. The Brampton Inn is 0.9 mile from this point on the left.
  From the North: When traveling on I-95 South, take exit Rt. 1 South (Christiana Mall). Follow Rt. 1 South to exit Rt. 299 (Odessa/Middletown). Follow Rt. 299 through Middletown to Rt. 301 South. Turn left onto Rt. 301 South. Stay on Rt. 301 South. Take exit Chestertown/Rt.290 South. Follow Rt. 290 South to Rt. 213 South. Continue on Rt. 213 South to the first traffic light in Chestertown. At the traffic light, turn right onto Rt. 291 West. Follow Rt. 291 West to the dead end. Turn right onto Rt. 20 West. The Brampton Inn is 0.9 mile from this point on the left.
