• Accommodations: 4 guest rooms, each with private bath and waterfront views, and 3 waterfront cottages, each with 1 bedroom, private bath, full kitchen, living room with fireplace, and screened porch.
• Rates: $120.00 to $250.00 for single / double occupancy. Additional guest is $25.00 per night. All senior citizens, veterans, active military, disabled persons, educators, volunteers, union musicians, government workers or people who work for non-profit organizations are welcome to a 20% discount on all rooms Sunday through Thursday, September through May, not including holidays. • Payment: Visa and MasterCard are accepted. Black Walnut Point Inn is an exclusive property where every guest reservation is both important and special to us. An advanced payment of the first night stay is taken upon reservation.
• Cancellation Policy: Cancellation notice must be received at least 10 days (30 days for holidays, special events such as Waterfowl Festival, and conferences) prior to scheduled arrival date for refund of deposit. In the unlikely event that you must cancel with less than ten (10) days notice, shorten your stay or check out early, please understand that we must ask you to take responsibility for your entire reservation. If we can rebook your room(s), a full or partial refund may be made less a $35.00 processing fee per room. A 30 day cancellation notice is required on multiple room bookings, whole house bookings, and for some holidays and special events.
• Restrictions: Due to the fact we are on a bird sanctuary, no pets allowed. Children over the age of 12 welcome. No Smoking; however designated outdoor areas are available.
• Breakfast: A full breakfast is served from 8:00 am to 10:00 am and lemonade, iced tea, hot tea and snacks are available throughout the day.
• Special Events at Inn: Weddings, seminars, team building, conference facilities available.
• Recreation & Activities: Pool on grounds. Golf nearby. Island and river charter cruises, charter fishing on island (rockfish, flounder, bluefish, spot, striped bass, trout and hardheads in Choptank River and Chesapeake Bay), bicycling, photography, birdwatching and walking.
• Attractions & Special Events: Wildlife Sanctuary, Waterfowl Festival (November), Tilghman Island Day (October), Chesapeake Bay, town of St. Michaels, shops, fine restaurants and famous Maritime Museum 20 minutes away.
