favorite, great menu - changes daily, wonderful desserts, BYOB) -
167 Spring St., Marion and Gateway Tavern - Route 6, Wareham.
- Recommended Local Best Kept Secrets: Walk through the
village, which still looks like a turn-of-the-century New England
seaside town. Marion is the sailing center of Buzzards Bay.
- Directions: From the South: take I-195 east, from
Providence towards Cape Cod. Exit at Marion (Exit 20). Turn left.
You are on Front Street (Route 105) heading north, towards
Rochester. The Inn is a 1/2 mile on the right. Our number 599, is on
the mailbox. Watch for 591, which is the house immediately before
our drive. If you miss our drive, the next sign on the right is for
Pinewood Drive. Turn around and come back.
From Boston: take I-495 to Exit 1, which is
Wareham-Marion. You will be on I-195. Exit #20, Marion. This exit is
only 5 miles from I-495. Turn left after you exit. You will be on
Front Street, which is Route 105. The house is 1/2 mile from the
interstate, and the number is 599 on the mailbox. If you pass the
house you will come to Pinewood Drive. Turn around and come back.
